Montreal Impact Academy Starts Playoffs on Monday

MONTREAL - The three Montreal Impact Academy teams playing in the Development Academy (Impact U15, U17 and U19) will begin the playoffs next week, at the SoCal Sports Complex, in Oceanside, California.

The group draw for the first round of the playoffs was done on June 6. The Impact U15 is in the same group as Toronto FC, the Seattle Sounders FC and Weston FC. The Impact U17 will face Bethesda SC, the Seattle Sounders FC and Solar Soccer Club. The U19 team will play against the Columbus Crew SC, Sacramento Republic FC and Sporting Kansas City.

Impact U19 v Sacramento Republic FC U19 - Wednesday, June 19, 1pm

Impact U19 v Sporting Kansas City U19 - Friday, June 21, 1:15pm

Impact U17 v Bethesda SC U17 - Tuesday, June 18, 4pm

Impact U17 v Seattle Sounders FC U17 - Thursday, June 20, 4pm

Impact U17 v Solar Soccer Club U17 - Saturday, June 22, 2:30pm

Impact U15 v Seattle Sounders FC U15 - Thursday, June 20, 1pm

Impact U15 v Weston FC U15 - Friday, June 21, 5:15pm

Impact U15 v Toronto FC U15 - Sunday, June 23, 1pm

The U15 finals will be played in Oceanside in the following days. In the U17 and U19 age categories, the quarterfinals between the winners of each group will be played on June 24 and 25, while the semifinals and finals will be played on July 8 and 10 in Irvine, California.

This season, the Impact U15 remained unbeaten and finished at the top of the Northeast division, with a 17-0-3 record, 88 goals scored and 13 conceded. The Impact U17 finished second in the Northeast division with a 13-5-4 record, while the Impact U19 finished third in its division with a 11-5-3 record.

In 2018, the Impact U17 reached the semifinals in Kansas City.
