May 18, 2021 - Canadian Football League (CFL)
Montreal Alouettes News Release
Montreal - The Montreal Alouettes made the following statement after the Gouvernement du Québec press conference, which was held on May 18, at 5 pm.
"The Montreal Alouettes are very encouraged by the announcements made by the provincial government on Tuesday, which are consequent with the ongoing discussions the organization has had with the public health officials these past weeks. Since the presence of a certain number of fans in the stands is essential for the Alouettes to return to play, today's announcements is a step in the right direction considering that the team's first home game (in Montreal) would most likely take place in September. It goes without saying that the organization is also extremely happy that youngsters will be able to practice their favourite team sport once again."
