Another huge clash in the Eastern Conference is ahead as the New York Red Bulls make their only Giants Stadium in a month-long spell when they play host to the Chicago Fire. The two teams are separated by just seven points in the division, but have been going in opposite directions of late, the Red Bulls having lost games at both ends of the I-95 corridor last week, while the Fire are unbeaten in four of their last five. It's the first of two meetings in three weeks for the clubs; they meet on Sept. 15 in Bridgeview as New York completes a spell of four road games out of five.

D.C. United at FC Dallas - CSN DC
Pizza Hut Park, Frisco, Texas - 8:30 p.m.
Complete game preview: http://web.mlsnet.com/news/mls_news.jsp?ymd=20070830&content_id=114713&vkey=news_mls&fext=.jsp
Two of the hottest teams in Major League Soccer meet at Pizza Hut Park when D.C. United travels to take on FC Dallas. United come into the game riding a five-game winning streak, which equals the longest in MLS this season, and with shutouts in four games over that span. FC Dallas saw their six-game unbeaten streak come to an end in their last game, two weeks ago at Houston Dynamo. The teams have already met once this season and it was a classic - United taking a three-goal lead in the second half at home before FC Dallas came all the way to grab a 3-3 draw in one of the biggest comebacks in MLS history.

- A year ago, the teams played to a 1-1 draw in Washington on April 29 before United claimed a 1-0 victory on July 4 in Frisco.
- United has won two of the last four meetings between the teams (with two draws), and both of those victories have come at Pizza Hut Park, the first-ever meetings in Frisco in the series.
