Minnesota Lynx News Release

MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL - The Minnesota Lynx today announced the team's schedule for the upcoming 2020 season. The Lynx will kick off their 22nd WNBA season, presented by Mayo Clinic, as the home team against the Connecticut Sun on Sunday, July 26 at 11:00 a.m. The season opener will be telecast on ESPN as part of the WNBA's opening weekend coverage.

The league's 24th season will take place in Bradenton, Florida at IMG Academy, the Official Home of the 2020 WNBA season, and will include a 22-game schedule for each of its 12 teams. The top priority continues to be the health and safety of players and staff, and the league continues working with medical specialists, public health experts, and government officials on a comprehensive set of guidelines to ensure that appropriate medical protocols and protections are in place while also dedicating the upcoming season to social change.

During the opening weekend, when all 12 teams will be in action, all aspects of the game and player outfitting will be designed to affirm Black Lives Matter and honor victims of police brutality and racial violence.

Minnesota's 2020 season includes eight nationally televised games, one on ESPN (July 26 vs. Connecticut), two on ESPN2 (August 9 at Los Angeles and August 13 at Las Vegas) and five on CBS Sports Network (July 28 at Seattle, August 5 at New York, August 15 vs. New York, August 21 at Phoenix and August 26 vs. Los Angeles).

FOX Sports North will televise a number of Lynx games, the schedule of telecasts along with broadcast details and talent lineup will be announced at a later date.
