MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL - The Minnesota Lynx today announced the team has signed forward Breanna Richardson to a training camp contract.
Richardson, a 6-1 forward from Conyers, Georgia, appeared in two preseason games with Minnesota in 2017, totaling 10 points and four rebounds. She posted highs of eight points and three rebounds on May 5 vs. Atlanta.
She is currently playing overseas in Israel for Bnot Hertzeliya where she is averaging 13.9 points, 7.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists in 20 games.
The Mississippi State graduate averaged 7.8 ppg and 5.1 rpg during her four-year collegiate career. Richardson holds the school record for career games played (140) and became the 10th player in MSU history to record 1,000 career points and 650 career rebounds.
