Happy 4th of July
The Rochester Honkers would like to wish all a very safe and enjoyable Independence Day, 2012.
We hope that you get to spend quality time with family and friends as America celebrates their Independence.
The Honkers office will be closed on Wednesday, July 4th in observence of the holiday and will re-open at 9am on Thursday, July 5th.
There is No Place Like Home!
Your Rochester Honkers return home on Saturday, July 7th after their longest road trip of the season, a 10-day trek that took them to St. Cloud, MN, Thunder Bay, Ontario, and Duluth, MN.
Let's welcome our boys back by showing our support on Saturday, July 7th at 7:05pm vs. the Willmar Stingers.
Upcoming Promotions
On Saturday July 7th, the Honkers will be hosting their Life's a Beach Night at Mayo Field. Fans are encouraged to dress in beach attire and enjoy Margarita Specials ($2.00) and beach music all night long. Gates open at 6:00 with first pitch at 7:05pm vs. the Willmar Stingers
Sunday, July 8th is our second I Bike / Walk Rochester Day at Mayo Field. Bike to the game or park and walk from the designated parking lot and get a free ticket to this 1:05pm matinee.
Monday, July 9th make some noise with our Thunderstix Night. The first 500 fans will receive a free set of Thunderstix as the Honkers take on the Willmar Stingers at 7:05pm, gates open at 6:00.
July 11th is our first ever Princess / Prince Night at Mayo Field. Come fully dressed as a princess or prince and get free general admission to this 7:05pm game. Snow White, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Tiana, and Merida, the star of the new movie Brave, will be there. Get photographs, autographs and partake in the Princess / Prince parade.
Get Lucky on Friday, July 13th with a Fireworks Extravaganza following the game! First pitch at 7:05pm as your Honkers take on the St. Cloud Rox.
Celebrity Server Saturdays
For Saturday home games during the months of July and August, the Rochester Honkers will be hosting Celebrity Server Saturdays on the Sports Deck.
Local area celebrities will be on the Sports Deck serving you your favorite beverages and food. Get up close and personal while enjoying a great night of baseball.
Saturday, July 7th, Bob Yanish from Perkins Restaurants and Major Jim Frye from the Salvation Army will be your hosts.
Saturday, July 14, come see Steve Lange and Jennifer Koski from the Rochester Magazine and Post Bulletin. Don't be scared as we also have Warden Jett from the Federal Medical Center assisting you.
