Micaletto, Jara Named to USL League One Team of the Week

STATESBORO, Ga. - Marco Micaletto and Pablo Jara have been named to the USL League One Team of the Week for Week 6 of the 2020 regular season after strong outings for South Georgia Tormenta FC in the team's 2-1 victory against Chattanooga Red Wolves SC on Aug. 22.

Micaletto continued his strong season to date, creating five scoring chances and recording a goal from the penalty spot to lead the team's comeback win. He also helped on the defensive end, recording three tackles, two interceptions and one blocked shot. The creative midfielder earns his second Team of the Week honors after being named in Week 2.

Jara has been incredible in goal for Tormenta FC the past three years, and he continued to show why he's one of the best across the league on Aug. 22. The Chilean netminder made five crucial saves throughout the match against a tough Chattanooga side to keep Tormenta FC in the match.

Micaletto, Jara and the Tormenta FC squad will hit the road again this Friday, Aug. 28, to face Orlando City B for the second and final time this regular season. Fans can watch every game of the 2020 League One season from the comfort of your own home via ESPN+ domestically and YouTube internationally.
