
McDonald's to Sponsor Spitfires Home Game

The Ronald McDonald house of southwestern Ontario has come on board with the Windsor Spitfires and will host a promotional game day. The Ronald McDonald House is set to sponsor the Thursday, March 3rd home game against the London Knights. The game is set for 7:05 pm in what will prove to be a pivotal game for the Spitfires who are battling for prime placement in the upcoming playoffs.
The game day will kick off with the Sammy Uprichard, Julie Dennis and Ryan Erb of the Ronald McDonald House dropping the ceremonial first puck. Information will be presented for Spitfires fans looking to donate to the Ronald McDonald House. Throughout the game, fans will be able to donate to the McDonald House charity. Those looking to give back to the Ronald McDonald House may text "RMHC" to 30333; a $5 donation will be added to the fans next cellular service bill. A message will be broadcast on the jumbo-tron at various times during the game informing and instructing fans on how to donate.
Since 1985, Ronald McDonald House of Southwestern Ontario has been a home away from home for families of seriously ill or injured children. Steps away from Children's Hospital, London Health Sciences Centre, the House is a comfortable, welcoming place where over 400 families a year stay while their children are in London for life-saving medical treatment.
