
Match Times Updated for Two Sporting KC Games

Sporting Kansas City announced today updated kickoff times for two matches on the club's MLS regular season schedule. The team's home match on Saturday, June 26 against Los Angeles FC, originally scheduled for 4 p.m. CT, has been moved 30 minutes later and is now scheduled for 4:30 p.m. CT at Children's Mercy Park. Tickets are available via SeatGeek.com as Sporting KC hosts LAFC, led by head coach Bob Bradley and the league's last two Golden Boot winners with the attacking duo of Carlos Vela and Diego Rossi.
In addition, kickoff for the team's road match on Sunday, Oct. 31 at Minnesota United FC has been set for 12 p.m. CT at Allianz Field. The Halloween edition of the nicest rivalry in sports was initially announced without a start time when the Major League Soccer schedule was released and comes amidst the playoff push on the penultimate weekend of the regular season campaign.
Both matches will be nationally televised on ESPN and ESPN Deportes. Sporting Kansas City away matches throughout the 2021 season can be seen at the club's 20 official pub partners spread across Kansas City, Wichita and Omaha.
A kickoff time for Sporting Kansas City's home match on Sunday, Oct. 3 against Houston Dynamo FC will be announced at a later date.
Currently in second place in the Western Conference, Sporting KC will host Houston at 7:30 p.m. CT this Saturday in the first full-capacity match at Children's Mercy Park since March 7, 2020. Tickets are available at SeatGeek.com as Sporting celebrates the club's Sporting Sustainability platform and Major League Soccer's Greener Goals initiative with both teams wearing adidas PRIMEBLUE kits made from recycled ocean plastic.
