Match Preview: Orlando City B to Face Fort Lauderdale CF in 2020 Home Opener

ORLANDO, Fla. - Orlando City B (1-1-0, 3 points) returns to Central Florida for its first home match of the 2020 USL League One season to face Fort Lauderdale CF (1-2-0, 3 points) on Friday, Aug. 14 at Osceola Heritage Park with kickoff set for 7 p.m. ET. T he match, which is closed to fans, will be available to stream live on ESPN+.

The Lions enter Friday's match after earning a 2-0 shutout win on the road against New England Revolution II, where forward Moises Tablante finished the game with two assists after serving forwards Wilfredo Rivera and Kenji Tanaka for their first OCB goals. Goalkeeper Austin Aviza also earned his first shutout as a Lion. OCB Head Coach Marcelo Neveleff and the Lions will now look for their second consecutive win on Friday at their home opener against a young Fort Lauderdale CF squad.

With one more game under their belt this season, Fort Lauderdale enters Friday's match also looking for their second consecutive win after earning a 2-1 victory on the road against South Georgia Tormenta FC this past Saturday. 16-year-old winger Edison Azcona and forward Ricky Lopez-Espin found the back of the net in that match. Similar to Orlando City B, Fort Lauderdale also saw young academy products debuting this season in 15-year-old winger Felipe Valencia and 17-year-old defender Ethan Hardin.

After Friday's matchup, the Lions will remain at Osceola Heritage Park for another home game against FC Tucson on Tuesday, Aug.18 with kickoff set for 7:30 p.m. ET.
