Match Preview: New York and Sporting Kansas Square off on Saturday

HARRISON, N.J. - A rematch of last season's U.S Open Cup final between the New York Red Bulls (10-5-2, 32 pts) and Sporting Kansas City (9-4-6, 33 pts) is slated on Saturday's Pride Night, presented by Bayer, at Red Bull Arena. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. ET with coverage on MSG, MSG Go and New York Red Bulls Radio in English and Spanish on TuneIn.

New York Red Bulls Radio goes live at 6 p.m. ET with triHonda Countdown to Kickoff, hosted by Matt Harmon and Steve Jolley. Ernesto Motta will carry the Spanish play-by-play broadcast, beginning at 7 p.m.

New York faces off against its eighth different Western Conference opponent. Over the last seven matches against a Western Conference foe, the Red Bulls own a 6-1-0 mark and have outscored their opponents, 17-5 with three clean sheets.

Red Bull Arena continues to be a fortress for the Red Bulls in 2018. New York has captured 19 of the possible 24 points at home and have outscored their opponents, 20-4. Against Western Conference teams, New York has allowed just one goal in four matches at RBA. The Red Bulls have won at least 10 games in six of the last eight seasons at Red Bull Arena since 2010.

The Red Bulls will have another batch of games in a small amount of time. New York will play four games in a 15-day span, three of which at Red Bull Arena. The Red Bulls fared well during its last stretch of matches, tallying a 2-2-1 mark over a 15-day window. New York's depth was tested with five different starting XIs during that stretch.
