Marauders Carve Up Threshers 5-1

April 17, 2017 - Florida State League (FSL) - Bradenton Marauders News Release

Bradenton, FL - The Marauders (9-3) stifled the Clearwater Threshers (8-4) on Monday night at LECOM Park. RHP Dario Agrazal (W, 1-0), RHP Jess Amedee, and RHP Seth McGarry combined to limit the Threshers to just five hits and one run. The win for Bradenton ends a three-game skid. The Marauders jumped in front in the first inning on a LF Logan Hill RBI- single. After the Threshers answered in the second, Bradenton took the lead for good in the home half of the inning with an RBI-ground out by RF Alfredo Reyes and a two-run single from 2B Mitchell Tolman. 1B Will Craig had two hits and an RBI. Cole Tucker stole his ninth base of the season and walked twice. UP NEXT: The Marauders play game two of the series against Clearwater...First pitch is scheduled for 6:30 p.m....
