
Mammoth opens playoffs Friday at Arizona

DENVER - The National Lacrosse League's Champion's Cup Playoffs begin Friday when the Colorado Mammoth faces the Arizona Sting in the West Division semifinal.
The No. 2-seeded Sting (9-7) will host the No. 3-seeded Mammoth (8-8) at 8:30 p.m. Mountain time at the Glendale Arena.
The winner will advance to the West Division final the following weekend in Calgary against the No. 1-seeded Roughnecks.
Buffalo hosts Rochester in the East Division semifinal this Saturday at 6 p.m. Mountain time at the HSBC Arena. The winner will advance to the East Division final the following weekend in Toronto against the No. 1-seeded Rock.
