DENVER - The National Lacrosse League has announced today that Colorado Mammoth assistant coach Ed Comeau will serve as an assistant on the East Division coaching staff at the 2011 NLL All-Star Game on February 27.

Comeau, the former head coach of the Orlando Titans, led the franchise to a berth in the Champion's Cup semifinals in 2010, where it lost to the Toronto Rock. Troy Cordingley, head coach of the Rock, will join Comeau on the bench for this year's all-star game as the squad's head coach.

"I'm very excited," said Comeau. "It's always an honor to be able to be behind the bench at an all-star game. It's an indication of my team last year having success and I have a lot of good memories from there."

There is a good chance that the first-year Mammoth assistant will coach in the game against several of his current players. All-Star team selections will be announced by the NLL next week.

The All-Star Game will be held at the Turning Stone Resort & Casino in Verona, New York at 12pm MST and will be televised live nationally on VERSUS.
