Lumberjacks Add Juraj Mily to Active Roster

MUSKEGON, Michigan (January 2nd) - The Muskegon Lumberjacks have announced that the organization has added Forward Juraj Mily to the active roster after being released last month from the Acadie-Bathurst Titan out of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) and is making his USHL debut on Saturday night when the team travels to Chicago to take on the Steel at 8:00 pm.

Mily, the Presov, Slovakia native, appeared in 19 games this season for Acadie-Bathurst recording one goal after being drafted by the Titan in the first round (14th overall) of the 2014 Canadian Hockey League Import Draft.

Before coming overseas to play in North America, Mily played back home in Slovakia splitting time from 2011-14 between the HC Presov and Team Slovakia junior programs. Over the last three seasons with the HC Presov program, Mily appeared in 87 games totaling 75 goals and 84 assists to go with a plus-169 rating. During the same time period, the Slovak also skated in 56 games for the Team Slovakia program notching 14 goals and 14 assists.

In addition, Mily skated in one game for the HK 32 Liptovsky Mikulas Under-18 Team during the 2011-12 campaign and has represented Slovakia in numerous international junior tournaments beginning in the 2012-13 season playing in 31 career games while tallying seven goals and eight assists.
