Lugnuts' Jimenez, Cougars' Bain Added to MWL All-Star Teams

LANSING, Mich. - The Lansing Lugnuts announce that Lugnuts right-hander Dany Jimenez and Kane County Cougars right-hander Jeff Bain have been named to the Midwest League Eastern Division and Western Division All-Star Teams, respectively.
Jimenez, 24, was signed by the Toronto Blue Jays as an international free agent from San Cristobal, Dominican Republic. In his last 17 appearances, Jimenez has allowed only five earned runs in 23 2/3 innings, a 1.90 ERA.
Bain, 22, was drafted by the Arizona Diamondbacks in the 16th round in 2017 from California. In 12 starts this season, he is 6-1 with a 2.91 ERA, notching 66 strikeouts in 65 innings.
