
Lookouts double up BayBears

CHATTANOOGA, TN - The BayBears three-game winning streak came to an end Thursday, falling to the Chattanooga Lookouts 6-3. Chattanooga scored five times in the second inning off Mobile's Chris Kinsey (1-4), who suffered the loss. The second inning rally consisted of a two-run triple by Drew Anderson, RBI singles by Marland Williams and Tonys Gutierrez and an RBI double by Paul Janish.
The BayBears were blanked by reliever Calvin Medlock (1-1), who picked up the win, striking out five in just 2.1 innings. Mobile's runs came on an RBI single by Wilkin Castillo in the third, a sacrifice fly by Carlos Gonzalez in the fourth, and a Gonzalez RBI double in the eighth.
Osbek Castillo and Abe Woody threw scoreless innings each for Mobile out of the bullpen.
The BayBears and Lookouts play four more games at AT&T Field in Chattanooga. Friday, Esmering Vasquez (2-4) takes the mound for Mobile, against James Avery (5-2) for Chattanooga at 6:15 PM.
