LONG ISLAND (Oct. 18, 2018) - The Long Island Nets, the NBA G League affiliate of the Brooklyn Nets, have acquired the returning player rights to center Marshall Plumlee from the Agua Caliente Clippers of Ontario. In return, the Nets traded the 33rd overall pick in the 2018 NBA G League Draft.
Plumlee appeared in eight games for the Milwaukee Bucks as a two-way player last season, as well as 27 games (25 starts) for Agua Caliente and 13 games (four starts) for the Wisconsin Herd in the NBA G League. The Duke alumnus has played in 29 career NBA games over two seasons with New York and Milwaukee, recording career averages of 1.9 points and 2.3 rebounds in 7.7 minutes per contest. In 55 career NBA G League games with Westchester, Agua Caliente and Wisconsin, Plumlee holds averages of 10.4 points, 8.3 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.0 blocks in 27.9 minutes per game.
