VANCOUVER B.C., May 7, 2003 - - BC Lions General Manager and Head Coach Wally Buono today announced release of safety Mike Crumb.
"The BC Lions would like to thank Mike for his years of service with the BC Lions football club," said Buono. "We wish him the best of luck in his future endeavours.
The 6'0", 195-pound Crumb signed with the Lions in May 1998 as a free agent.
The BC Lions are celebrating their 50th season in the CFL when they kick off the regular season at home on Friday, June 20. The team is offering an incredible contest for 2003 Season Ticket and Flex Pack holders. Each entry will have a chance to win a Classic 1953 Chevy 2-Door Sedan during the final game on Saturday, October 25. The BC Lions will also be asking fans for their selections for the All-Time BC Lions Dream Team.
