Las Vegas Aces Jackie Young Named to USA Basketball Women's 3x3 Team

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO - USA Basketball announced today that Las Vegas Aces guard Jackie Young is one of four players who will represent the United States at the 2019 World Beach Games in Doha, Qatar. She is joined by Minnesota's Napheesa Collier, the University of Oregon's Ruthy Hebard, and Hopkins High School (MN) star Paige Bueckers.

The team will take part in the inaugural World Beach Games 3x3 women's basketball competition at Katara Beach from October 13-16. Playing in Group A, the USA will open on October 13 versus Dominican Republic at 5:25 am PT, followed by Jordan at 8:45 am that same day , and Russia at 5 am on October 15.

Young finished 10th in the WNBA in assists as a rookie and was named to the league's All-Rookie Team. Her 153 assists were the most in franchise history by a true rookie, and the most by a member of the franchise since 2014.

Young took part in the 2017 USA Basketball Women's U23 National Team Camp, but this will mark her first official USAB competition.
