Lardis and Avon Both Score on Return as Petes Fall 3-2 to First Place Spitfires

(Windsor, ON) On November 10th, the Petes traveled to Windsor for their first meeting with the Western Conference leading Spitfires since 2020. It would be a homecoming for Petes defenceman Konnor Smith, who would play in his hometown for the first time in his OHL career. The Petes would fall to Windsor by a score of 3-2.

J.R. Avon and Nick Lardis had the only goals for the Petes, Sahil Panwar and Chase Stillman each added an assist. Michael Simpson stopped 31/34 in the loss.

Nick Lardis scores his ninth of the year assisted by Chase Stillman

The Petes will travel to the USA for the first time since 2019 and take on the Flint Firebirds on Saturday, November 12th. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:00 PM. You can catch the game on YourTV Peterborough and Freq 90.5.
