LOS ANGELES - The LA Galaxy today announced that the club has loaned forward Augustine Williams to USL Championship side San Diego Loyal SC for the remainder of the 2021 campaign.
Williams, 24, signed with the Galaxy at the beginning of the 2021 MLS regular season, making seven appearances in 85 minutes of action. The Freetown, Sierra Leone, played in six games (four starts) for Los Dos in 2021. Notably, Williams tallied 13 goals in 17 games played (16 starts) for LA Galaxy II during the 2020 campaign, earning a spot on the USL Championship's All-League First Team.
