LA Galaxy News Release
LOS ANGELES - LA Galaxy forward Ola Kamara and defender Emrah Klimenta have been called in for international fixtures by their respective countries.
Kamara and the Norwegian national team will play in Oslo on Friday, March 23 against Australia before traveling to face Albania on Monday, March 26 in Elbasan, Albania. Kamara is back with Norway after most recently being called up in November 2017, when he appeared in friendlies against Macedonia and Slovakia. This marks Kamara's first international call-up while with the LA Galaxy. He originally debuted for his country on Oct. 11, 2013.
Klimenta, who was signed by the Galaxy on Jan. 16, 2018, also collects his first international call-up while with the Galaxy. Born in Rožaje, Montenegro, Klimenta was last selected for international duty in October 2017 for Montenegro's 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers. Klimenta made his international debut with Montenegro in a 2016 friendly against Turkey.
In other international news, LA Galaxy midfielder Jonathan dos Santos is unable to join the Mexican National Team for their upcoming friendlies after sustaining a hamstring injury in training last week.
