Kyle Anderson 2020 MLL Draft Prospect
April 29, 2020 - Major League Lacrosse (MLL) News Release
Boston, MA - Kyle Anderson carries with him more than the experience of leading a top division one team. Anderson battled and beat stage 3 cancer. In his subsequent season with the Crimson, Anderson became the leading goal scorer, second on the team for points and had an impressive shot percentage of 42.5%. The next season in Anderson's collegiate campaign he became the leader across all offensive statistics for the Crimson, leading in goals, assists and points. In 2019 Anderson finished in the top 50 players in the country for goals per game and was 15th in the NCAA in goals per game for the junior class.
In 2020, before the start of his senior season, Anderson was one of fourteen teammates to participate in Lacrosse for Life, shaving his head and assisting in raising $14,000 for Boston Children's Hospital.
Through the Lacrosse For Life campaign, 14 players shaved their heads and raised $14,000 for the Boston Children's Hospital. We are honored to support our local Boston community, and humbled by the commitment of the Lacrosse community at large #CrimsonCares #lacrosse4life

Harvard was able to play four games this season with Anderson as a captain. They finished with a 2-2 record and Anderson finished first and second across Harvard's offensive stats.
Anderson's collegiate career shows a dedicated, determined and consistent leader that an MLL team could add to their roster. The Boston Cannons' extensive work with, and contribution towards, Boston Children's Hospital would certainly show alignment in values and commitment to the community. Will we see Anderson become the newest member of the Cannons?
