Knicks Beat Go-Go, Reach .500 for First Time this Season
WHITE PLAINS, NY - January 19, 2020 - On the tail end of a back-to-back, Ignas Brazdeikis and Lamar Peters each registered 20-point performances and the Westchester Knicks, the official NBA G League affiliate of the New York Knicks, bested the Capital City Go-Go, 112-96, Sunday afternoon at Westchester County Center. After winning three-straight, Westchester (13-13) is .500 on the season for the first time.
As one of the league's premier shot-blocking and three-point shooting teams, Westchester raised for nine blocks, almost three above its season average, and connected on 42.9% of its looks from downtown, also surpassing its season mean. Kenny Wooten highly influenced the defense with six rejections, his second consecutive game with that much. Peters (6), Tyler Hall (3), Andrew White III (2) and Brazdeikis (2) all had multiple makes from the perimeter. Capital City (12-14) failed to tally a block and hit four fewer threes than the Knicks.

Capital City came within one in the second quarter's inception but quickly fell behind by double-digits as the Knicks put together an 11-2 run spanning almost three minutes, 37-27. That would mark the closest the visitors would come for the duration of the game.
Peters' team-high 22 points came on 50-percent shooting and 60-percent from three (6-of-10). He also dished seven assists off the bench. Brazdeikis' 20 too came on 50-percent shooting while the New York Knicks assignee also recorded six rebounds and four assists. Kadeem Allen lent a team-high eight dimes.
