Kibato and RGV FC Head to Quarterfinals with Win over Hartford

EDINBURG, Texas - Kembo Kibato managed a 2-0 win for Rio Grande Valley FC over Hartford Athletic in the quarterfinal of week 3 in the USL eCup: FIFA20 Edition.
Brazil attacked as the first half started with a goal from Boas Santos as he took the lead in the 14th minute, 1-0. In the 43rd minute, Hartford, as Scotland, attacked but Brazil's defending line blocked the shot out. Two minutes later, Brazil attacked but the goalkeeper saved the attempt at goal.
During stoppage time, Neymar Jr. took a right footed shot from the left side of the box to the right back of the net scoring the second goal for Brazil, 2-0.
The second half began with Scotland attacking but once again, Brazil's defense managed to keep the clean sheet. Before the matchup ended, Brazil attacked and the keeper had yet another significant block.
RGV FC will continue to semifinals facing the winner between New York Red Bulls II and Greenville Triumph SC on Thursday, May 21 at 7:30 p.m. CST. All games will be streamed on the Toros Twitch Channel (RGVFCToros).
