Food, posters & cards giveaway in Family Night ticket pack, HVAC expected to be resolved

LINCOLN, Neb. - The Lincoln Stars welcome families and warmth to the Ice Box this Saturday, Jan. 27 when the Stars host the Omaha Lancers at 7:05 p.m.

KFC Family Night returns with special giveaways for ticket pack purchases. Fans can purchase a four-pack of tickets for Saturday's game and receive four KFC meal coupons, four "Stars in the NHL" alumni posters and four 2017-18 Stars trading card pack for just $64 (a $162 value). Additional tickets and rewards may be purchased at an additional $16 per selection.

In addition, the Stars expect to welcome normal temperatures back to the Ice Box as our partner John Henry's Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning expects to have the repair of the HVAC system completed.

"The Lincoln Stars thank you for your support during the last couple weeks and appreciate your patience," said Stars owner Ryan Schiff. "We would also like to thank John Henry's for expediting this job and taking such good care of us."

The Stars and Lancers compete for the fourth time this season on Saturday night. After picking up a point in their last meeting on January 13, the Stars take on another home-and-home series with the Lancers with a road game on Friday night. The Stars have won each of the last two season series with a combined 11 wins.

The Stars take on the Omaha Lancers on Friday, Jan. 26 at 7:05 p.m. from Ralston Arena. Group and jump-in season tickets for the 2017-18 season are available by calling 402-474-7827.
