Former Chicago Cubs second baseman and National Baseball Hall of Fame member Ryne Sandberg has been named the manager of the Peoria Chiefs for 2007 and you can reserve your seats now for a once in a lifetime chance to be up close and personal when the Chiefs visit Veterans Memorial Stadium during the 2007 season!

The Kernels have put together special ticket packages with seats in the Club and Premier sections near the visitor's dugout for six games when the Chiefs are in town. The dates are May 29-May 31, July 7-8 and August 16.

Premier tickets for these six games are $54 and Club seats are $48 and these packages are on sale NOW! The only way to reserve these seats is to call Andrea Murphy at (319) 896-7603 or e-mail her at andrea@kernels.com - these packages will not be available through the Kernels' on-line store!

The Chiefs visit the stadium three other times (June 1, July 9 and August 17), but these games can ONLY be purchased when individual game tickets go on sale at 10 am on Monday, March 12!
