Kayla Thornton Named Player of the Week
Arlington, TX - Forward Kayla Thornton has been named Dallas Wings player of the week for her outstanding performance Nov. 28-Dec. 5.
The 6-1 forward started the week with a 20-point performance, when she and the KB Stars hosted the Blue Minx on Dec. 1. For the night, Thornton recorded 21 points, nine rebounds and three assists with 30 minutes of play. It marked as her best performance for the week.
Overall, Thornton played in two games in seven days, combining for a total of 39 points (19.5 ppg), 15 rebounds (7.5 rpg), and two steals (1.0 spg).
