K-Mets to Begin Six-Game Home Stand Thursday

Your K-Mets are riding high off a successful 3-1 road trip through Johnson City and Greeneville, and they're excited to get back to the Friendly Confines of Hunter Wright Stadium.

Thursday kicks off the home stand with a 6:30 start against the Johnson City Cardinals. The first 300 fans through the gate will receive a New York Mets tie-dye shirt. In addition, it's NET Elite Night at the stadium, as the Mets are welcoming the players and families of NET Elite Baseball.

Thursday is also Dollar Night, as fans will be able to enjoy $1 hot dogs, sodas, and beer. Finally, the Mets are excited to welcome WWE Hall of Famer Ricky Morton to the stadium.

The set continues on Friday with Eastman Night. The Mets are welcoming Eastman employees and their families.

The series concludes on Saturday with a 6:30 start. Saturday is Parks and Rec Night at the ballpark, where the Mets welcome players, coaches and families from the City of Kingsport Parks and Recreation department. In addition, it is MiLB Sun Safety Night, where the first 300 fans through the gates receive a sunscreen sample from Blue Lizard.

Sunday begins the Appalachian League version of the Subway Series, where your K-Mets play host to the Pulaski Yankees. Sunday is a 4:00 start, and it's Bloomingdale Optima Little League Night. The Mets will welcome players, coaches, and family from the Bloomingdale Optima Little League and will have a special pre-game on-field ceremony

Monday night is Military Monday, presented by Ingles. All veterans and active military get in FREE, and the Mets will wear a special on field Military jersey. Monday is also Lynn Garden Little League Night. The Mets will welcome players, coaches and family from the Lynn Garden Little League, with a special pre-game on-filed ceremony. In addition it is also Kids Night, where children 12 years and under will receive a free ticket to tonight's game, presented by Fazoli's.

The home stand concludes with a 6:30 start on Tuesday. This Tuesday is the second of our $2 Tuesday's series, where fans can enjoy $2 hot dogs, sodas, and beer.
