SEATTLE - With the recent conclusion of the 2018 AFC Women's Asian Cup, Seattle Reign FC has welcomed back four internationals who participated in the tournament.

Defender Steph Catley and goalkeeper Lydia Williams, as well as midfielder Rumi Utsugi and forward Nahomi Kawasumi, all returned to the club after playing for their respective national teams in the Women's Asian Cup in Amman, Jordan. Japan and Australia faced off in the final last Friday, with the Nadeshiko defeating the Matildas 1-0 in to win their second consecutive Women's Asian Cup championship. Both sides have qualified for the 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup in France.

All four returning players are expected to be available for selection in Seattle's match against the Orlando Pride this weekend.

The return of the four international players has resulted in two roster moves for Reign FC.

Gay was in the 18 for Seattle's first three matches but did not make an appearance for the club. In addition, forward Jaycie Johnson, who signed as a National Team Replacement Player on March 30, has been moved to the D45 list with a right knee sprain. Johnson has not appeared in any matches for Seattle Reign FC this season.
