Jackals To Hold Jersey Auctions During Final Home Game

Elmira, NY - The Elmira Jackals announced today that they will hold two separate jersey auctions on Friday during their final home game of the season.

The Jackals will be auctioning off both their game-worn Home White jerseys and their Budweiser/Drink Responsibly Warm Up jerseys, sponsored by Seneca Beverage Corp. Throughout the game fans can place bids on the Warm Up jerseys as they will be the feature of a Silent Auction in the First Arena concourse. All the proceeds for the Warm Up jersey auction will be donated by the Jackals and Seneca Beverage Corp to the Glove House.

The Jackals will also hold a live auction for the Game-Worn/Home White jerseys on the ice after the conclusion of the game with the Port Huron Flags. Fans can place bids with auctioneer/public address announcer Mike Strobel, as each Jackals player displays their game jersey.

Friday's game is Fan Appreciation Night at First Arena as the Jackals will take the opportunity to thank their great fans for all of the wonderful support they brought the team again this year. As part of Fan Appreciation Night the Jackals will be holding many random drawings and exciting prizes will be given out through the evening. During the pre game festivities, prior to the opening face off, the Jackals will also be presenting Player Awards for such things as Most Valuable Player, Best Defenseman, etc.

The Jackals will play their final home game of the 2006-2007 season on Friday April 6th with a 7:35 pm face off against the Port Huron Flags at First Arena. The game is also Jackals Fan Appreciation Day. Elmira final game of the season will be in Port Huron on Saturday April 7th at McMorran Place Arena.
