Jackalopes Tender Forward Dayne Hoyord
ODESSA, TX - The Odessa Jackalopes are proud to announce they have tendered forward Dayne Hoyord for the 2020-21 season.
A Wisconsin native, Hoyord stands at 5'9'', weighs 174 lbs and is a right-handed shot. Hoyord comes to the Jackalopes after a successful season with the Northern Cyclones of the National Collegiate Development Conference. Hoyord finished fourth in team scoring with 41 points (12 goals, 29 assists) in 48 games played.
"Dayne is a fast player who plays hard and with great energy," said Jackalopes head coach Jason Fortier. "He is a great athlete as will be counted on to bring energy with offense."
A tender is a contract, of sorts, a player signs announcing his intentions to play for that particular NAHL team and that NAHL team only. Once a player signs a tender with an NAHL team, his playing rights belong to that team within the NAHL and he may not be recruited by any other NAHL team. Each team is granted ten (10) tenders, plus or minus any trades, which become active on Nov. 1. Tendered players are not eligible for the NAHL draft. (Information provided by NAHL.com)
