Augusta Lynx News Release
The Augusta Lynx unveiled the remainder of their new ownership group GOAL, LLC (Group Operating the Augusta Lynx) this evening at an invitation only Season Ticket Holder and Sponsor party.
Held at the Event Center at Enterprise Mill, GOAL partner Dan Troutman introduced two new partners into the mix: Robert Burch and his wife Jan (Hodges) Burch. The Burchs bring to a total of three the partners in GOAL as the Lynx move towards the 2006-07 Season.
Jan (Hodges) Burch is well known in the CSRA as co-owner of the Stokes-Hodges Auto Group, as well as for her many charitable and community-enrichment endeavors. Robert Burch is involved in a host of successful business ventures, including Burch and Associates, a downtown Augusta accounting firm.
On hand at the event Thursday were Lynx general manager Rob Mueller, head coach and director of hockey operations Bob Ferguson, more than 200 season ticket holders and sponsors, and other team staff.
