IronPigs Postponed Tonight

(Norfolk, Va.) - Tonight's International League contest between the Lehigh Valley IronPigs and Norfolk Tides has been postponed due to inclement weather. The teams will make up the game as part of a doubleheader on Wednesday, April 25th at 12:05 pm.

In Game 1, the Pigs will start RHP Tom Eshelman (1-2, 5.29).

In Game 2, the Pigs will start RHP Jake Waguespack (0-0, 4.50 in Double-A Reading).

This will mark Lehigh Valley's first doubleheader of the season. Last year, the Pigs were a franchise-best 15-4 in doubleheader games with a single-season record six sweeps. All-time, the Pigs are 66-60 (.524) in doubleheader games with 17 sweeps in 63 tries (swept 12 times).

The Pigs return home on Friday to start a six-game, North Division homestand at Coca-Cola Park with Game 1 of a three-game series with the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders. It will be a Friday Night Fireworks date with first-pitch scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
