The Iowa Barnstormers will square up in a rubber match with Bismarck this Saturday with potential playoff implications on the line.
This Saturday (7:05 p.m., Wells Fargo Arena), the two teams will face off against each other for the third time this season after splitting the first two matchups this season.
The game will also play a pivotal role in playoff implications, as three weeks remain in the 2021 IFL season.
The top 8 teams in the standings at the end of the year will make the playoffs this year, and if Bismarck and Iowa were to tie, the team with the head-to-head edge would be awarded the better spot.
Iowa comes into the game with a 2-2 record at The Well this season, including a win over Bismarck in May.
During the game, quarterback Daquan Neal threw for four touchdowns through the air on 11 completions, also rushing for another.
Carrington Thompson and Connor Hollenbeck lead the way on the receiving side, with Thompson going for a team-high 80 yards and Hollenbeck collecting a pair of touchdowns.
The game kicks off at 7:05 p.m. CT.
