
Intimidators Single-Game Tickets on Sale

KANNAPOLIS, N.C. (March 14, 2014) - Single-game tickets for the Kannapolis Intimidators, Class A Affiliate of the Chicago White Sox, are on sale through the F&M Bank Box Office at CMC-NorthEast Stadium. Tickets are available for Opening Night on Thursday, April 3, and the team's Independence holiday game and fireworks show on Thursday, July 3, as well as all other home games.
Ticket prices in the reserved and general admission sections will remain the same for the fourth straight season when fans purchase in advance of game day.
The Intimidators host 70 home games from April 3 through Labor Day with reserved-level tickets only $8 and general admission tickets just $6 when purchased in advance. Children (ages 4-12) and seniors (55 and older) receive $1 off the price of tickets in the reserved and general admission sections. Group discounts are available for parties of 20 or more. This season, the new Ollie's Cheap Seats section offers tickets for $5.
The 2014 season opens on April 3 at CMC-NorthEast Stadium against the Greenville Drive (Boston Red Sox) at 7:05 p.m. featuring Thirsty Thursday discounted beverages, 50-cent WingStreet wings, and post-game Launch-A-Ball presented by Dick's Sporting Goods. The first 1,000 fans on Opening Night will receive a 2014 magnet schedule courtesy of Pizza Hut. Saturday, April 5, the Intimidators are giving away a 20th season towel featuring the logo of the Intimidators as well as those of the Piedmont Boll Weevils and Piedmont Phillies - former monikers of the franchise - to the first 500 fans presented by the City of Kannapolis.
The first fireworks night of the season is Saturday, April 19, following the game against the West Virginia Power at 7:05 p.m. and is presented by CMC-NorthEast.
The Intimidators are preparing for the 20th season of professional baseball in Kannapolis and 14th as a Chicago White Sox affiliate. Since the team came to town in 1995, a total of 77 players have gone from Kannapolis to the Major Leagues, including 2007 NL MVP Jimmy Rollins as well as former NFL standout and 1998 Heisman Trophy winner Ricky Williams.
