Kannapolis Cannon Ballers News Release

KANNAPOLIS, N.C. (Aug. 27, 2015) - The Kannapolis Intimidators go to great lengths to keep our fans happy, and on Fan Appreciation Day on Sunday, September 6, the team will even give you their jerseys off their backs. The Intimidators are hosting a silent auction at the second-to-last game of the 2015 campaign to give fans a chance to take home the team's alternate black uniforms featuring white letters and numbers with red trim. The silent auction begins when gates open at 4:00 p.m. and runs through the middle of the seventh inning. First pitch is at 5:05 p.m. against the West Virginia Power at Intimidators Stadium supported by Carolinas HealthCare System.

Winners of the silent auction will be invited down to the field following the game to receive their uniforms and have the option of having the Intimidators player autograph the jersey. Kannapolis has worn these alternate black uniforms since 2010 with more than a dozen Intimidators-turned-Major Leaguers having donned the jerseys, including Trayce Thompson, Carlos Sanchez, Micah Johnson, Daniel Webb and more.

The Intimidators game on Sunday, Sept. 6, is also the final Kids Day presented by Cornerstone Church featuring pre-game player autographs and post-game kids run the bases. All kids tickets are only $5. Fan Appreciation Day will also feature special deals, giveaways, and prizes.
