Wisconsin Rapids Rafters News Release

Wisconsin Rapids, WI-March 21st, 2012. Incourage Community Foundation has expanded its presence at Witter Field, partnering with the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters to support several community efforts.

New in 2012, Incourage will be the presenting sponsor for the Rafters Fourth of July game. The Rafters face the Madison Mallards and the game time on July 4 will be 1:05pm. For the first time, the Rafters are offering a 2 for 1 ticket to the first 250 fans who bring a non-perishable food item. All donations will be given to the South Wood County Emergency Pantry Shelf. Join Incourage Community Foundation and the Rafters as we work together by helping our neighbors and celebrating our independence. After the game, head downtown for the Fourth of July festivities and fireworks.

Want to help make the fireworks show spectacular? Then treat yourself to a bag of cotton candy at a Rafters game. For every bag of cotton candy sold in 2012, $1 will be donated to the Community Fireworks Fund.

Incourage is also partnering with the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters to offer area students an opportunity to come out to the ballpark and enjoy a game. Incourage Little Rafters Reading Program is being offered in most area schools. Students that participate and complete the Incourage Little Rafters Reading Program will receive two free tickets to a game featuring their school. Please see teachers for additional information on how to get your kids enrolled in the program.
