Impact And The Club Des Petits DÉjeuners Du QuÉbec Team Up For A Fourth Year

March 17, 2009 - USL First Division (USL-1) - Montreal Impact News Release

MONTREAL - The Montreal Impact and the Club des petits déjeuners du Québec team up once again this year and launch the fourth edition of the Reach your Goal with the Impact program, which will run until May 17.

This four-week long program builds on the concepts of cooperation, self-esteem, team spirit, health and schooling. Throughout the project, kids from St-Jean-de-la-Lande Elementary School in Montreal will take on team and individual challenges, helped by the tips and expertise of Montreal Impact defender Adam Braz.

"I'm excited and proud to be a spokesperson for this great program, since it's important for children today to lead healthy lifestyles," said Adam Braz. "I'm happy to be associated through the Impact to the values of this project, which include teamwork and the adoption of healthy habits. This project raises awareness on these key issues, inspiring the youth to improve themselves."

Since its creation in 1994, the first mission of the Club des petits déjeuners du Québec is to offer children a good breakfast to help them start their day in class on the right foot. Beyond providing this essential meal lies the wish to promote self-esteem and encourage the youth to embrace the values of respect, integrity, honesty and teamwork.
