IF Jake Cronenworth Transferred to Biscuits; C Danny De La Calle to Extended Spring Training

MONTGOMERY, Ala. - The Rays have announced that IF Jake Cronenworth has been transferred to the Biscuits from AAA Durham.
Cronenworth, 24, is 0-for-his-first-28 with the Biscuits this season, but has played in six games for AAA Bulls and gone 4-for-22 with a double and two RBIs. The former Michigan Wolverine made his Durham debut on April 17 and hit an RBI-single in his first Triple-A at-bat away at Toledo.
The Rays also announced that C Danny De La Calle has been transferred from the Biscuits to Extended Spring Training. De La Calle, 25, has played in three games for the Biscuits this season and gone 1-for-7 at the plate.
The Biscuits active roster is currently at 25.
