
Houston Dynamo FC to Open Preseason on January 18 at Houston Sports Park

HOUSTON - Houston Dynamo FC will begin preparations for their first campaign under head coach Paulo Nagamura on Tuesday, Jan. 18 at Houston Sports Park, the Club announced today.
The Dynamo open the preseason with entrance exams on Sunday, Jan. 16 and take the field for the first time two days later. The team will host its first scrimmage on Saturday, Jan. 29 at Houston Sports Park against Houston Dynamo 2, the newly launched second division team.
The Dynamo travel to Arizona on Jan. 31 to compete in the Dessert Showcase, presented by Visit Tucson. Houston opens their participation in the showcase against Real Salt Lake on Wednesday, Feb. 2 and three days later face the Colorado Rapids. The Dynamo close their trip to Tucson on Feb. 8 with a pair of split-squad matches against Phoenix Rising FC and El Paso Locomotive FC.
The Dynamo return to PNC Stadium on Feb. 12 to host Austin FC at PNC Stadium. Houston will close the preseason on the road beginning with a preseason game against Toronto FC in the State Capital on Wednesday, Feb. 16. The Dynamo will travel to Frisco that evening to prepare for their final preseason match against FC Dallas on Feb. 19 at Toyota Stadium. Streaming and ticket information for all events hosted by the Dynamo will be announced at a later date.
The Dynamo open the 2022 MLS regular season at PNC Stadium against Real Salt Lake at 6 p.m. CT on Sunday, Feb. 27. For tickets and additional information, visit HoustonDynamoFC.com.
