Hockey Harvest Lottery Winner Declared

December 22, 2020 - Western Hockey League (WHL)
Saskatoon Blades News Release

We have a winner!

The Hockey Harvest Lottery presented by Great Western Brewing Company grand prize ticket belongs to Lynn Moe.

Lynn, the mother to Prince Albert Raiders forward Spencer Moe, is $185,365 richer after claiming the winning ticket, which was pulled yesterday at Great Western Brewing headquarters in Saskatoon. Saskatoon Blades director of business operations Tyler Wawryk, along with GWBC staff used electronic random selection to yank the winning stub and came out with ticket C-110971.

The total jackpot rang in at $370,730 prior to the December 21st deadline, much of which collected through the final 48 hours of purchasing. Lynn receives half of the jackpot, while the remaining half will be split evenly between the five Saskatchewan-based WHL teams, and then dispersed into their respective WHL alumni education funds. That's $37,073 going directly into each team's scholarship program.

The Saskatoon Blades would like to thank the community and the province for their generous support over the last six weeks, and wishes everyone in Saskatchewan a safe and Merry Christmas!
