The Harrisburg Senators and Akron Rubber Ducks play game two of their three game series. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. at Canal Park.

TONIGHT'S GAME The Senators and Akron RubberDucks play game two of their three-game series tonight. The RubberDucks took the series opener 5-4 after scoring a pair of runs in the bottom of the eighth inning. Harrisburg enters play on Saturday second in the Western Division, 3.5 games behind first-place Akron.

ROAD TESTED The Senators have won six consecutive road series and nine of their past 11 road games which includes a pair of three-game sweeps over Hartford and Reading. The Senators are both 19-17 at home and on the road, however they have a 4.15 ERA at home while a 3.53 ERA on the road.

AT LAST AKRON After the series opener against the RubberDucks, the Senators have played a game vs. every Eastern League team this season. The Senators still have three more Eastern League parks they have not visited in 2018: Binghamton, Portland and New Hampshire.

BOOM GOES KIEBOOM Carter Kieboom hit a home run in the third at bat of his Double-A debut on Thursday night. The 20-year-old is the second youngest player to play for the Senators this season. Juan Soto (19) is the youngest, and he also hit a home run in his Senators debut on May 10.

PLAYERS FROM POTOMAC The Senators added infielders Carter Kieboom and Jake Noll, outfielder Alec Keller and pitcher Tyler Mapes to their roster from Potomac on Thursday. Kieboom is the third ranked prospect in the Nationals organization according to MLB.com. Noll was second in the Carolina League with 80 hits this season prior to his promotion. Keller joins the Senators for his second season with the club after spending all of last season on the team prior to being placed on the disabled list on July 18. Mapes pitched for the Senators in 2016 before missing all of the 2017 season with injury.

BESTING THE WEST Harrisburg has not lost a series against a Western Division opponent this season. They have won six series against the West, including six of the last eight and have split five. The Senators are in the midst of a stretch where they play 25 consecutive games against the Western Division. They are 4-4 during the stretch. SENATORS STARTING PITCHER Tyler Mapes makes his 2018 Senators debut in game two of the series. The right-hander went 6 -1 with 1.76 ERA across 12 starts with Potomac this season. Mapes tossed a complete game shutout in his last start with the P-Nats on June 15 against Biues Creek. For more information on Mapes, please turn to page two of the game notes.

AKRON STARTING PITCHER The RubberDucks counter with starter Tristan McKenzie. The right-hander is 1-1 with a 3.14 ERA across three starts with the 'Ducks this season. McKenzie was on the disabled list from April 5 to June 7 to start the year. The 20-year-old is the 2nd ranked prospect in the Cleveland organization according to MLB.com .
