Gwinnett Braves Release 2013 Promotional Schedule

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA - The Gwinnett Braves officially announced the list of promotions and giveaways for the 2013 season on Thursday, February 28. The fifth season of G-Braves Baseball at Coolray Field will be highlighted by an Alumni Bobblehead Series, a collectible Poster Series, six Post-Game Fireworks Nights and numerous other promotions. Tickets for all 72 home games can now be redeemed by those with Anytime Tickets, while single-game tickets are slated to go on sale at 10 AM on Thursday, March 7.

The season kicks off on Thursday, April 4 at 7:05 PM as the Gwinnett Braves host the Charlotte Knights. The first 2,000 fans entering Coolray Field will receive a G-Braves T-Shirt presented by Georgia Power. The first homestand of 2013 also includes a Post-Game Fireworks show on Friday, April 5, a Brandon Beachy Bobblehead presented by Coolray Heating and Cooling on Saturday, April 6 and a Coolray Field Fleece Blanket sponsored by Coolray Heating and Cooling on Sunday, April 7.

Beachy is the first of five former G-Braves to be immortalized in the Alumni Bobblehead Series. Freddie Freeman (May 18, presented by Coolray Heating and Cooling), Jason Heyward (June 22, presented by Georgia Power), Kris Medlen (July 6, presented by Coolray Heating and Cooling) and Craig Kimbrel (August 10, presented by Gwinnett Medical Center) will all follow in the series, given to the first 2,000 fans. The Gwinnett Braves are currently offering a "Bobblehead 5-Pack" mini-plan, allowing fans to secure their tickets to all five Alumni Bobblehead giveaway nights. All 5-Packs, including the "Fireworks Pack," "Best 5 Games Pack" and "Silver Slugger Pack" can be purchased now by calling 678-277-0340 or by visiting gwinnettbraves.com/5pack.

The collectible Poster Series, featuring notable Gwinnett Braves players from past and present, goes out to the first 500 fans before each Tuesday game (excluding Day Care Day on June 11). That includes April 16, May 7, May 21, June 4, June 25, July 9 (presented by Sanofi), July 23, August 13 and August 27. Each Poster Series giveaway date coincides with a special pre-game autograph session with selected Gwinnett Braves players.

Other notable giveaways include a 5th Anniversary Logo Mini-Bat sponsored by Charter Communications (Saturday, May 25), a 5th Anniversary Logo Commemorative Bank sponsored by Delta Community Credit Union (Saturday, June 8), a G-Braves Notebook sponsored by Charter Business (Saturday, July 20) and a G-Braves Baseball Cap sponsored by Coolray Heating and Cooling (Friday, August 16).

Get ready for the sky over Coolray Field to light up six times this season, as Post-Game Fireworks makes its return in 2013. The Fireworks dates are set for Friday, April 5, Friday, May 3, Friday, June 7, Thursday, July 4 (Independence Day Show), Friday, August 2 and Friday, August 30 (Fan Appreciation Night, presented by 12Stone Church). The "Fireworks 5-Pack" offers secured tickets to five of those dates and is available for purchase by calling 678-277-0340 or visiting gwinnettbraves.com/5pack.

The Gwinnett Braves will twice don specialty jerseys to raise money for charities in 2013. On Friday, June 21, G-Braves' players will wear Throwback 80's Powder Blue jerseys sponsored by Gwinnett Medical Center. All jerseys will be auctioned off during the game, with proceeds going to Gwinnett Medical Center's non-profit foundation. On Saturday, July 20, the G-Braves will once again wear Camouflage jerseys, sponsored by Kipper Tool. All Camouflage jerseys will be auctioned off with proceeds benefitting the Wounded Warrior Project.

The list of 2013 Promotions can be viewed at gwinnettbraves.com under the "Tickets & Promotions" tab. The Gwinnett Braves will announce the Day of the Week promotions and the complete 2013 Promotions Schedule on Friday, March 1.

Tickets for all 72 Gwinnett Braves home games can now be redeemed by those with Anytime Tickets. Single-game tickets go on sale to the public on Thursday, March 7 beginning at 10 AM. The on-sale opportunity will be the first chance to purchase individual game tickets for Opening Night, April 4 as well as Independence Day, July 4. Tickets can be purchased that day through the Coolray Field Box Office or by calling 678-277-0340.
