Grizzlies Recall Wade Baldwin Iv, Deyonta Davis And Jarell Martin From Iowa Energy

Memphis, Tenn. - Memphis Grizzlies General Manager Chris Wallace today announced the team has recalled guard Wade Baldwin IV, center Deyonta Davis and forward Jarell Martin from the Iowa Energy, the Grizzlies' NBA Development League affiliate.

Baldwin (6-4, 202) has appeared in 21 games (10 starts) for the Energy this season and averaged 12.7 points, 4.3 rebounds, 5.3 assists and 1.50 steals in 27.1 minutes. Drafted by Memphis in the first round (17th overall) of the 2016 NBA Draft following his sophomore season at Vanderbilt University, the 20-year-old Belle Mead, N.J. native has competed in 24 games (one start) with the Grizzlies and averaged 3.4 points, 1.4 rebounds and 2.0 assists in 12.9 minutes as a rookie.

Davis (6-11, 237) has appeared in five games (four starts) for the Energy this season and averaged 8.8 points, 6.6 rebounds and 2.20 blocks in 22.3 minutes. Drafted by the Boston Celtics in the second round (31st overall) of the 2016 NBA Draft following his freshman year at Michigan State University and acquired by Memphis on draft night with the draft rights to Rade Zagorac (35th overall), the 20-year-old Muskegon, Mich. native has come off the bench in 25 games for the Grizzlies and averaged 1.9 points and 2.0 rebounds in 7.3 minutes during his rookie season.

Martin (6-9, 237) has appeared in 10 games (seven starts) for the Energy this season and averaged 14.6 points, 6.8 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 26.6 minutes. Currently in his second NBA season, the 22-year-old has appeared in 40 games (three starts) with the Grizzlies this season and recorded 3.9 points and 3.9 rebounds in 13.4 minutes. A native of Baton Rouge, La., Martin was drafted by Memphis in the first round (25th overall) of the 2015 NBA Draft following his sophomore season at Louisiana State University.
