
Grey Cup champs ink Issa

(Edmonton) The Edmonton Eskimo Football Club announced today that import defensive lineman Jabari Issa has re-signed with the team. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Issa had rejoined Edmonton in August this year after a brief stint with the Kansas City Chiefs. Originally signing with Edmonton in April of 2004, Issa appeared in five games for Edmonton that season.
In seven regular season games in 2005, Issa notched 8 defensive tackles, 1 sack and two pass knockdowns. During Edmonton's championship playoff run, Jabari recorded two defensive tackles and a pass knockdown.
