Bowling Green Hot Rods News Release
Bowling Green, KY - The Tampa Bay Rays have officially announced the promotion of OF Granden Goetzman from Extended Spring Training to the Bowling Green Hot Rods. In a corresponding move, IF Ben Kline has been transferred to the roster of the Hudson Valley Renegades. These moves leave the Hot Rods 25-man roster at its full capacity.
Goetzman, a native of Palemtto, FL, was a second round selection (75th overall) by the Rays in the June 2011 Draft. The outfielder played in 12 games with the Princeton Rays in 2012, hitting .298 with one home run and eight RBI's.
The first Faith and Family Night of the 2013 season is Sunday at 5:05 PM at Bowling Green Ballpark. Christian Family Radio, the night's sponsor, is making possible a pregame concert by national Christian recording artist The Royal Knockout and a pregame faith testimonial from Hot Rods players.
