(ATLANTA) - Ahead of the their fourth-straight postseason appearance, the Georgia Swarm are proud to announce they have created a charitable campaign benefiting Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. The Swarm will donate $50 for every save made by a Swarm goaltender during the East Division Semifinals to Children's.

DoMyOwn.com, one of the Swarm's largest partners, is teaming up with the Swarm for the East Division Semifinals and will match the Swarm's donation to Children's.

"DoMyOwn.com is a proud sponsor of the Swarm, and we were excited to hear about their performance-based donation to support Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. Children's means a lot to our company, and we are honored to partner with the Swarm and match their efforts," said Michael Gossling, President and Co-Owner of DoMyOwn.com.

Fans can help contribute to the Swarm's final donation total by making pledges of their own at PledgeIt.org/Swarm from now until midnight on May 7.

Earlier this week, Swarm mascot Stinger and front office personnel visited Children's at Scottish Rite hospital to spend time with patients, hand out Swarm jerseys and sign some of the children to one-day honorary Swarm contracts.

"We're so thankful to our friends at Georgia Swarm for coming and spending time with our kids and even signing on a few honorary members of the team. This is a unique experience for these kids that I don't think they will forget," said Dave Winokur, development officer at Children's Foundation. "The Georgia Swarm's generous donation for every save made will help us continue to make kids better today and healthier tomorrow."

"Children's Healthcare of Atlanta's mission is near to the hearts of many of our players and staff, and our goalies are stepping up big," Swarm Co-Owner and President Andy Arlotta said. "We encourage our fans to join us in this celebration by making their own donation, as well."

"Having two of our sons spend time in the NICU when they were born prematurely makes this partnership extra special to my family," Swarm goaltender Mike Poulin said. "Children's Healthcare of Atlanta does amazing work, and we look forward to partnering with them during the 2019 playoffs."

The Swarm will take on the Toronto Rock in the East Division Semifinals presented by Reeves Young at Harrah's Cherokee Casino Field at Infinite Energy Arena on Monday, May 6. Faceoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET. Tickets are on sale now at GeorgiaSwarm.com/Playoffs. Ticket packages include two-game and four-game playoff packs and are available by calling 844-4-GASWARM.
