Generals Acquire Brendan Harrogate from Steelheads

November 22, 2017 - Ontario Hockey League (OHL) - Oshawa Generals News Release

Oshawa, ON- The Generals announced today that they have acquired forward Brendan Harrogate from the Mississauga Steelheads in exchange for draft selections.

"We felt it was important to have our forwards up to a comfortable number with 14. Brendan is a player we have watched for a few years. He was a scorer in minor midget and had a pretty good year with Mississauga last year. We are hoping he gets back to that when given the opportunity this season" said Vice President and General Manager, Roger Hunt on the newly acquired forward.

With the Steelheads, Harrogate accumulated 21 goals, 16 assists for 37 points and 66 penalty minutes in 113 games. In return, the Generals send a 4th round selection in 2020 and a conditional 7th round selection in 2019 to the Steelheads.

The Oshawa Generals would like to welcome Brendan to the organization and the City of Oshawa. You can catch Brendan in the lineup when the Generals take the ice for three games this weekend against Hamilton, Barrie and Mississauga.
